The task was to create an invitation for a customer-appreciation event, where clients would be taken to a baseball game.
As the invitation was to act as a ticket, the inspiration was to model the invitation as an old-style ticket stub. The edges are perforated, to give a torn ticket stub feel, while the graphics are stylized to evoke both an old-time feel and the scratched-up roughness of a baseball field.
